Hi! I’m Leah and welcome to my website.

I currently work as a freelance photographer and graphic designer in Washington, DC. I've recently graduated from Scripps College with a degree in Media Studies. I've worked with Worn Creative, Len DePas Photography  and Flavor Group.

Photography is a practice and a process, analyzing the natural light (or placing studio lights), inserting a subject in the space adjusting the camera settings themselves, and ultimately taking the shot.  Over time, the process becomes second nature.   When I photograph someone, I’m trying to find not only how the natural light and their inner light interact with each other.  And when they are dancing with one another, that to me is a beautiful image. And sometimes we find something that the world hasn’t seen in them before.
